Cookery Club

We run a cookery club to share cooking methods, ingredients and recipes across cultures.  Check out our recipes for some of the good, basic recipes that we've shared.  Each session is hosted at a different home, and a couple of volunteers demonstrate some of their best loved recipes on a theme.  We've had desserts, mains, baking, healthy cooking and breakfasts and many others.  Please contact us if you'd like to join in.

Reading to Share Club

This is a new type of book club that's a lot easier to get to grips with in a short time - there's even no need to pre-read!  We have a great new format that we'd like to share with anyone who likes to read and talk ... and drink tea and coffee.

It may be an extract from a novel, a magazine or newspaper article, or something you've read in on the internet and can share. The aim is not deal with aspects of our cultures, traditions, races and religions so that we can really learn and understand that the fun, love, laughter and crises that we all go through are pretty much the same, no matter what our differences are.

If you are concerned or troubled about 'what's going on in the world today' and what it means for you and your children, this is a group for you.

Watch this space for information about the latest session, or email us, or contact us on twitter or facebook if you want to join up.

English Conversation Classes

We're planning to start up some English conversation classes towards the end of the Summer term, so if you're good at English speaking and would like to help, or if you think you'd like to improve your English conversational skills, please let us know.  Thanks to those who've volunteered so far!
